DETROIT — The 2024 NFL Draft is underway!
The draft kicked off on Thursday night in Detroit and will end on Saturday, April 27.
The Pittsburgh Steelers got things off to a strong start on Thursday night, selecting Troy Fautanu, an offensive tackle from the University of Washington.
Offensive regrouping continued Friday night with the selection of center Zach Frazier in the second round and Roman Wilson in the third round.
With two picks in the third round, the Steelers also selected linebacker Payton Wilson at pick No. 98.
The team took guard Mason McCormick as their fourth-round pick.
Saturday took a different turn later on when the Steelers decided to focus more on defense. They first took DE Logan Lee from Iowa as the 178th pick. A few picks later they brought in Ryan Watts from Texas.

UPDATE 8:32 PM: The Steelers select Zach Frazier, a center from West Virginia University as the 51st pick of the NFL Draft.
Frazier grew up just down Interstate 79 in Fairmont, West Virginia. He played 47 games for the Mountaineers with 46 starts and did not allow a sack for the entire 2023 season.

UPDATE 10:31 PM: The Pittsburgh Steelers select Troy Fautanu, an offensive tackle from the University of Washington, as the 20th pick in the NFL Draft.
Fautanu, who made the All-Pac-12 first team for two consecutive seasons, also won the 2023 Morris Trophy as the top offensive lineman in the conference.
He started at left tackle in all 15 games in 2023, going all the way to the National Championship game with the Huskies.
